Brandhouse Streamlines SAP Security

[Cape Town, 22 June 2012] –

It was announced yesterday that Brandhouse purchased two of K5 ERP Solutions’ SAP security products to cut costs and streamline their service to their employees.

K5’s Managing Director, David Bann relayed that a large part of Brandhouse’s SAP support calls are based around users that have forgotten their SAP passwords. “SAP UnLocker will free up precious time for their support staff to focus on more business critical functions” said Bann. “While it’s a very basic concept, this type of functionality is very valuable to our clients” he continued.

Another pain that Brandhouse and many other SAP customers experience is managing SAP authorization requests beyond the normal daily operations. “Every business needs to cater for out of the ordinary SAP authorization requests for emergency situations, or to manage external consultants during a project – SAP Urgent Access allows you to do this without being slapped over the wrists by your auditors, and it’s hassle free.”

SAP Urgent Access will be used at Brandhouse to control additional temporary access given predominantly to consultants. Using the product will improve turnaround times for support calls, and tighten up on SAP security and audit compliance.
