15 October 2021 – DURBAN, South Africa – groupelephant.com‘s EPI-USE Africa and K5 Business today announced the successful conclusion of a transaction between the companies, which sees EPI-USE acquiring a significant stake in K5 Business.
Having started operations in 2006, K5 Business specialises in the delivery of SAP and related services from their bases of operation in Durban, South Africa and Ebene, Mauritius.
Following a strong collaboration between the companies since 2017, a formalisation of the relationship was the next logical step to ensuring that a more strategic focus is placed on their complementary delivery. “In the period leading up to the conclusion, we were able to positively cooperate and confirm our expectations of a great cultural fit and the presence of a very strong and capable leadership and consulting team”, said Dirk Nieuwoudt, Associate Partner at EPI-USE. He further added, “We anticipate expansion of our delivery centre through the inclusion of K5’s consultants in the structure, and their growing team in Mauritius provides us with a unique value alternative for French-speaking EPI-USE regions. We also look forward to their non-HR services bolstering our current capabilities within our Application Management Services and the collaboration potential it brings to other group companies, SAPCONET and G3G”.
